If you have the remnants of tree you had chopped down previously here is the 2nd easiest stump removal technique. The easiest would be to call a professional, give him some money then sit back with an ice cold cup of tea while the job gets done.
This technique involves using Epsom salt to get rid of the stump. You can get Epsom salt at your local pharmacy, or Wal-Mart. You will also need a drill, and a 3/8th drill bit that is over 10 inches long. You can get those items at your local hardware store. Depending on how big the stump is determines how much Epsom salt is needed. If the Stump is really big it is still going to take some time to break down. You will also need a tarp big enough to cover the stump. List Epsom Salt Drill and 3/8th drill bit over 10 inches long Tarp big enough to cover the stump Here is a great stump removal video that you can use if you don't want to read. Now that you have all those things you take the Drill bit and drill holes that are about 3-4 inches apart down 10 inches deep over the entire area of the top of the stump. Once the holes are drill you will need to fill all the holes with Epsom salt. Then take the Epsom salt and pour it on the stump all the way around the base. Make sure to get it an inch or two deep around the stump. Once you have these steps completed take the tarp and cover the stump completely. Keep it covered to keep out the rain. If rain or moister gets in it will wash away the salt and the salt cant do its job. What happens next is where the magic happens. The salt will break down the wood and deteriorate it. Bam!
